On Friday, March 27, 2011, the shop was busy as usual.
A customer's white E46 M3 was to be prepared for this year's track day events with a full alignment, corner balancing, and a toe adjustment. The suspension had been recently upgraded with AST 4100 Mono-tube Coilover Struts and Shocks with 600/750 lb springs. so the shocks and ride height were also dialed in to provide the absolute best handling and stance.

The car was fitted with stunning 19" x 8.5"/9.5" 3-Piece BBS LM-R Wheels and sticky Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 tires with Bimmerworld wheel studs securing them in place. When the coilovers were installed, the rear trailing arm bushings and shock mounts were also upgraded to take the abuse of HPDE and Time Trial events.
The #22 Green BMW received a hood livery incorporating the 'Monster Energy' drink logo into it. The logo is not identical to the Monster Energy's one, but very similar.
The claws and the aggressive flare it showed was exactly what Hugh wanted it to look like. "It had to be more aggressive. Last year the hood was just too plain. This year is going to be different. And besides, it now lives up to the name 'Green Monster'," he said.
The 2011 race schedule has now been announced by NASA.
